Brisbane Disaster Relief Appeal fundraisers: live broadcasts

Mixlr is featuring two special live broadcasts this week, from one of our hottest live broadcasters Sundae. Most of Sundae’s live broadcasts come from their legendary dance parties in Philadelphia, but their roots are in Brisbane, Australia: a city which of course was recently devastated by some of the worst flooding in living memory.

So we’re proud to broadcast their two fundraising efforts live here on Mixlr this week. Both parties are a joint effort between Sundae, Zuri, Auditree and Nightvision for the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

In the words of Sundae:

Zuri hosts the first event on Tuesday the 25th of January (Australia Day Eve) with Beth Yen(Syd),Cool Hand Luke, Frank Li, Katch (Resin Dogs), Matt Kitshon and Benn Hopkins serving up spirit raising tunes with live percussion and sax thrown into the mix. A donation towards the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal is being taken at the door from 8pm.

On Wednesday 26th of January (Australia Day Public Holiday) Watt the home of Sundae Brisbane as well as the iconic Flood sign welcomes Brett J, Adrian Matyear, Zach Salar, Cosmo Cater, Jason Rouse and Chantal to the turntables from 3pm. As there is no door to charge cover at we will be walking around the event with clearly marked containers to take donations on the day.

This event has been registered as a Third Party with the Office of Fair Trading (Refererence Number TF/11/2908) with 100% of donations going directly to the Premier’s Disaster Relief Appeal.

Both broadcasts will be available on Sundae’s Mixlr page.
