Mixlr for Google Chrome is easy to install, and works on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. After you’ve installed it, you’ll see a Mixlr icon appear in the top-right of your browser.
Live broadcast notifications for all.
Live broadcasts are a one-off event, so it’s vital to be able to find out when a broadcast you want to listen to is on-air, and join in the fun. To help you do this, we’ve also added desktop notifications for Mixlr broadcasts to Google Chrome.
Every time a live broadcast starts, you’ll see a notification pop up in Google Chrome. Just click on the notification to listen to the broadcast.
And don’t worry: if drum’n’bass leaves you with a sad face, or funk simply fails to sooth your soul, it’s easy to control your notifications. Just click on Notification settings, and de-select the categories you want to hide. These categories will no longer appear in the popup menu, or desktop notifications.
It’s even possible to enable notifications of new comments on the live broadcast you’re listening to, if you find it useful.
Feedback welcome.
We hope you find our integration with Google Chrome to be useful and fun. It’s certainly changed the way we use our own service, and we think you’ll like it too.
