Today we’re pushing out a small, but often-requested improvement.
From today, you’ll be able to include international characters, as well as spaces and punctuation, in your Mixlr username.
Up until now, we’ve only allowed usernames to include alphanumeric characters and underscores. With Mixlr’s community hailing from all corners of the world, we’ve realised for a long time that this isn’t ideal.
If you’ve already signed up and want to change your username, then it’s easy to change it on your edit profile page.
And if you do change your username, don’t worry about people not being able to find you – visitors to your old profile page will be automatically redirected to your shiny new one.
And as usual, let us have your comments and feedback.
